COSD-130 Chemical Texture I 3

Course introduces instruction in the theory and practical application of permanent waves and chemical relaxers. Enables students to practice different wrapping techniques required by trend styles, and includes methods on how to perform a test curl and the chemistry involved in straightening or curling the hair. Addresses how to perform a well-rounded consultation with the client and what to look for before, during, and after the application of a permanent wave or chemical relaxer.
