PTAP-141 Therapeutic Exercise 4

This course will build upon the knowledge of muscle anatomy and function and introduce foundational concepts of therapeutic exercise to aid clients/patients in preventing and recovering from injury. Students will learn to follow clinical practice guidelines and use clinical judgment to effectively apply therapeutic exercises to improve client/patient functional status. Students will continue to perform data collection, monitor patient health, illness, and/or response to treatment, interpret data for quality assurance, and complete accurate documentation following legal and ethical guidelines.
Prerequisites: PTAP-111, PTAP-121
