FIRE-161 Basic Wildland Firefighting 1

This training consists of 4 basic firefighter courses required by National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWGC) and provides the training and information required by NWGC. Students will complete coursework that will allow them to acquire a “red card” certification required to work on wildland fires or prescribed burns. This course is a prerequisite for all other wildland related training and employment.
