EVHV-150 Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Climate Control 3

A theory and shop course to teach the student hybrid and electric vehicle heating, air conditioning & ventilation systems as they apply to the automotive electric vehicles. High voltage air conditioning compressor systems and PTC heater systems will be discussed. The use of test equipment will be emphasized and the student will learn to safely diagnose, evacuate, recover and recharge air conditioning systems. Safety is emphasized. 
Prerequisites: EVHV-110 , EVHV-130 , EVHV-135 , EVHV-140                                                                                        
Corequisites: EVHV-145
