EVHV-110 Introduction to Hybrid/Electric Vehicle 4 This course will orient the student to Hybrid and Electric vehicle components and function. Specifically designed to provide the student the necessary knowledge of Hybrid and Electric vehicle components and safe power down of these vehicles for repair. Shop and EV safety will be strongly emphasized as well as safe shop work areas and personal protective equipment for servicing these vehicles. Also listed as None Prerequisites: Completion of a previous automotive degree or certificate. Related industry experience with ASE certifications in A6,A7,A8,A4,and A5. Corequisites: Prerequisites are necessary becaue of the safety risks associated with the repair and service of hybrid and Electric vehicles Offered: Fall, Spring Faculty Permission Required Fee - Course/Program (F) $50.00
