NURS-1989 Nursing Externship 4

Building on clinical skills from other Nursing courses, this optional clinical course uses the six QSEN competencies and professional behaviors. This intensive clinical course provides students with an opportunity to provide supervised total nursing care for select patients. Under the guidance of faculty, SJRMC nurses and the clinical scholar, students will spend 144 hours reinforcing and refining clinical competency and clinical reasoning skills learned in prior nursing courses.
Prerequisites: NMNC-1135 , NMNC-1235 or NMNC-2335
