EMSP-271 Paramedic Clinical II 2

Serves as the second clinical component of the paramedic program. Provides paramedic students an opportunity to apply their knowledge in real patient care situations. Clinical rotations include time in hospital departments such as emergency, intensive care, pediatrics, surgery, obstetrics, and respiratory and also at other sites including urgent cares, physician clinics, and daycare centers. Course is a minimum of 150 hours but may require additional hours to complete required skills. Taken in combination with theory and lab courses.
Prerequisites: Acceptance into the paramedic program.
