DISL-210 Diesel Engine Overhaul 5

Study of the diesel fueled internal combustion engine and how mechanical power is generated. Students will perform a complete disassembly and reassembly of a diesel engine as well as perform tune-up, failure diagnosis and analysis, and maintenance. Safety will be strictly enforces. A grade of “C” or better must be earned to receive credit for this course. Also listed as DIME 110
Prerequisites: DISL-110 DIME-118 Preventative Maintenance & Inspection 6 and DISL-115 DIME-115 Electrical 4
