TEMS-1110 Intro to Federal Indian Policy 3 This seminar presents an overview of the history of Federal Indian Policy from “emergent” to current times. By presenting the eight (8) eras/periods, the student will better understand the evolving relationship between the US government and the Indian Tribes within its borders illuminating the impact that past policies and treaties have on current protocols.
